Gerald & Kristy say "I Do"!

It was a scorching Saturday for Gerald and Kristy's outdoor wedding. We braved the heat in St. Albert's Red Willow Park for the ceremony, then headed to Lion's Park for the formals, but not before getting ready at Ricci Hair Company with the make-up wizardry of James Kershaw - what a legend!

It was a real treat to photograph Gerald and Kristy. They and their awesome wedding party had us laughing throughout the day, which made it fly by, but not so fast that we didn't have time to take some amazing shots. Take a look:

Thanks again to the incredibly talented Aadil for being our assistant.

He captured quite the moment here:

The Engagement of Stephen & Erika...

Thanks to Dave & Kelsey for introducing us to Erika at their wedding in February. We feel blessed to have met both these couples and we look forward to partying with them at Stephen and Erika's 2009 wedding.

The Royal Alberta Museum was the perfect background for Stephen & Erika's beautiful smiles and personalities. They got their feet wet (literally) with this photoshoot, and we know they'll be a blast to shoot all over again at their wedding.

Lawrence & Dennell... Engaged!

Louise McKinney Park has become one of our favourite locations to shoot at, so it seemed like the perfect location for Lawrence and Dennell's duo engagement-slash-family portrait session.

They kept us laughing throughout the entire shoot and every photo was better than the last. If you don't believe us (or even if you do), here are a few examples:

Scott & Susan... the Countdown is on!

With only a month to go until the wedding, we headed out to more than a few locations around Edmonton - the U of A Arts Building, the High Level Bridge, Whyte Ave and their old apartment (insert Barenaked Ladies tune, "the Old Apartment" here).

Shooting Scott and Susan was incredibly easy, as they needed very little instruction, were super happy and allowed us to be a fly on the wall in their day. They were a blast to photograph, and we so can't wait until their big day!

Take a look and you'll see why, starting with the old apartment:

In case you're wondering what is says, it's "Be a lover, not a fighter."

This background is not fake, but it sure looks that way:
